CAT 41 pump control lever mounting

More
17 years 1 week ago #9446 by John from Fresno
I have a CAT #41 (sn# 9VXXX) rear pump that I would like to mount on my D4. Is there a manual that shows where to drill the four holes to mount the lever on the fender?

Thanks,

John

Got one for the later #41 but not for the 9V series. Must be a rare bird if there is one. I don't see one listed in the Cat Legendary Literature list either.

I,d think the best thing to do is assemble all the linkage, rod & base & lever & make sure the position is in the hold position & find the place where it will move correctly & no binding & whatever. I,m sure it shouldn,t be a big job to locate it & to work correctly.I don,t know if you,d have to install some spacers to bring it up to work freely so you,ll have to work it out.
