Does anyone know what the D311 genset weighs? I think I'm reading 5000# on the equipment tag (the tag is a bit corroded). I feel this is a bit heavy for this generator but I may be underestimating the weight of the 18kw generator head.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Sorry, this genset is on skids and not trailer mounted.

I show 2,760 lbs dry shipping weight approximate in the 4V5001-up Parts Book. (D311 Diesel Electric Set) including skid and fuel tank.

Thanks OM. That sounds a whole lot closer to what I would expect. Heck, 5000# isn't much less than a D24U.
