Heard from a friend of a friend that three running, complete 955Hs and a little Michigan are at a local scrapyard. They have a sympathetic mechanic so I guess most decent machines get a shot before being cut up. I'm told that 2 have decent tracks and one needs a starter. They are at G&S Scrap in South Windsor, CT and the phone # is 860-528-7033. 

Again, this is secondhand info and I do not know prices or exact condition. I'm just doing my part to help save old iron. Pics below...

My buddy was there this week and says they are still there...

I woke up this morning and as the wife brought me some coffee I set down and said "I was on Craigslist and saw a tractor for sale." There was a pregnant pause, then she nervelessly asked "And?". I smiled and jokingly mumbled "April Fools" and she begin to breath again. 🎈🤣😂🎈

I think the 955H is a good machine they are strong and reliable in rough terrain. They are not quick like a wheel loader but they can go places wheels can't. A side dump bucket was an attachment option. The sidedump helps the longevity of the undercarriage

Turns out I know the guy who brought them in as he is cleaning out his dad's property. I'm told to talk to him if I wanted one or parts off one.

-it blows me away what goes for scrap in the US of America....sure it has repair issues...but SCRAP ??
-really like that Michigan loader..wish it was closer...someone please adopt..
