Hi, I want to buy some new D2 rails for my 5U. I'm in Western NY and would like to know where to buy it. I know there are dealers online but I'm wondering if that's the best option vs. a local dealer whose neck I can wring when they get the order wrong : ) If there is a reputable online dealer, please let me know. The other thing is that my 5U uses 33 link rails vs. older tractors that use 30 links. Would your vendor be familiar enough to know the difference? : )
Related question - do these guys also sell sprocket rings and idlers? I have a set of D3 rollers for it and am contemplating changing the sprocket rings to D3 and would therefore want D3 width idlers.__PRESENT

Very good everyone, thanks for the info. Would anyone know the diameter of D3 idlers? If I go with D3 chain to match my rollers, I'll want at least the right width idler and if a D3 idler is close to a D2 idler (23 inch or thereabouts for the large idler) I could bolt those on. JM, those rails from CA are for the 3J, which does take 30 link chains.

Worked a treat, thanks Eddie! I see a reference to a D3NC, which has the same inside and outside spreads as the D2 - I'm not familiar with the NC designation - do you know what that refers to? And for the other D3s (original, B, C) it looks like the inside spread is the same as the D2 (2.38) and the outside spread is 04 larger at 4.74. Based on that, I would have some "overhang" which I initially thought wouldn't be an issue, but then after some wear set in, a ridge would end up on the rail surfaces and the chain could start running off-center. What do you think? If I could get a hold of the chain that fitted the D3 NC, then it's a perfect fit for existing D2 idlers, but if I go with the D3(original, B, C) chain, then I'd want to upgrade my idlers. I already have a set of D3 rollers so that part's done, and I could continue to use my existing sprocket rims. Thoughts?
