Folks, as I sit here feigning BOREDOM, awaiting my parts delivery: Wondering out loud as to what prospects are for 2021 shows? Our show season usually begins first week of April here: St. Jude's Truck Show Sutter, CA (first weekend) ATHS Central California Chapter (second weekend?) and CAFES Tulare, CA (third weekend).
There has not been any word of Sutter yet; ATHS is being voted on this week; Tulare is officially cancelled as of last week.
No word on Patrick Ranch Show Durham/Chico, CA yet.
How is Santa Margarita looking? What else is planned for the West Coast?
I think many of us need to get out and see things, experience the sites and smells of exhaust fumes and dirt! JM

Hi. Juiceman.
No verdict on Santa Margarita yet. Tom just told me that they are hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I get the impression that the fun police are going to try to be relentless.
A private play weekend has been proposed but it is still in negotiation stage at the moment.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Tom: Agreed! Amazing what a bit of noise and fumes can do for ones soul.
Deas: Crossing my fingers. Regardless of what happens, I plan on getting the sheeps foot roller. Looks like I have a couple of small jobs for it finally!
Seems like folks are worried of the fun PoPo here as well. Nobody wants to have any gatherings, for fear of having fingers pointed at them for spreading germs.
Lets hope for the best. JM

Hi, Juiceman.
I spoke with Tom Madden yesterday about the show and he said they are planning for the best and expecting the worst.
There may just possibly be a light at the end of the tunnel that is NOT an approaching train. I have been 'refuellling' IN a 'human refuelling station' just up the track from the ranch for several months now and there has apparently been no official reaction.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas, just read the the govner greuesom is beginning to lift the ban on outdoor dining in the whole state, we may be seeing light for outdoor activities, long as we retain social distancing ect. Glad to hear you are able to re-fuel, cost of diesel may be going up?? Tom.

Hi, TomTrack44.
It'z not diesel that I have been 'refuelling' with at this 'human refueling station'. I need 'fuelling' on a fairly regular basis too or you might not be able to find me comes the next show.
So we fit all attendees to the show with 12-foot diameter hoops to maintain 'social distancing'?????????????????????????
A kew-ree-yuss mind would like to know. If that is to be the case, can I have the concession for the rental of the hoops?

I thought it was 6 foot distance so I think we could shrink the hoop to just over 3 foot and meet the requirement. LOL Somebody got the rock in the governor's head rolling around again so LOL maybe if we are lucky.

I read recently that the US death toll from Covid had exceeded 400,000 which is apparently more than died in WW2, a sobering thought. I agree, not something to be taken lightly.
